Sylvia Plath tells us “the blood jet is poetry. There is no stopping it.”
Anyone's Guess is a lot of things: An amalgam of styles and artistic ideas that strain against one another, finding birth in sound. A band that pushes back against heartbreak with a sly smile and indelicate thunder. Independent. Irreverent. Innovative.
But most of all, Anyone's Guess is a band that works relentlessly. A band formed with the resolve not to quit, not to slow down and a band that takes pride in their hard work. That's who they’ve always been. It's in their blood.
And there's no stopping it.
The female-fronted, rock trio from Orlando, FL. formed in 2006 and has since released four albums which, through college and internet radio play, put them on the underground radar in both the USA and the UK. In 2012 ‘March in the Dark: Chapter I’ was released and the single ‘Apathy’ was an instant success, catching the attention of Bubba the Love Sponge (Sirius-syndicated FM show), where the band performed a three-song, in-studio, live set with a glowing response from the hosts and the audience.
Anyone's Guess has spent the last three years building an audience through touring, and has shared the stage with national bands like 12 Stones, Straight Line Stitch, Bellusira, Letters from the Fire, and The Letter Black. Their song 'Leavin', from Point:Counterpoint, is licensed to Synchup for TV syndication and the single "Unthinkable" was a featured song of the day in Revolver Magazine's newsletter.
The band’s fifth album, 'Commitment Issues', comes out January 2017. The band’s front woman Sanja, describes its content as "relatable topics, from the perspective of a person who has lost their sh*t." The Album was produced and mixed by Brian Virtue (30 Seconds to Mars, Chevelle, Jane's Addiction) and mastered by Richard Dodd (Halestorm, Tom Petty, Green Day) after a successful crowdfunding campaign
